  • Monday, June 29: Beth El, 8101 Park Heights Ave, 12:00pm-1:30pm

Please Note: We will respect social distancing practices while giving families the opportunity to drop off lunches at Chizuk Amuno, which will then be driven to the recipient locations by KSDS volunteers. This opportunity is open to all.

    • Self Care Panel Discussion: “Taking Care of Ourselves and Our Children.” With the support of the KSDS guidance team, we heard from three outstanding professionals: Dr. Brad Piergrossi, Mrs. Rachael Abrams, and Rabbi Dana Saroken.

    • “Kibbitz” with the Rabbis: Informal chat with KSDS Head of School Rabbi Moshe Schwartz and CAC Senior Rabbi Josh Gruenberg, moderated by KSDS Board member Sam Andorsky.
    • Zoom panel discussion and Q&A about the Coronavirus with Dr. Eili Klein, Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine and Epidemiology at Johns Hopkins and an expert on infectious disease. A panel of leading physicians, all current KSDS parents, answered our questions and spoke about the realities on the ground here in Baltimore. Parents included Dr. Stuart Levine, Dr. David Maine, Dr. Lauren Mendelsohn-Levin, and Dr. Jonathan Thierman.
