KSDS hosted the Baltimore Festival of Jewish Literature Opening Event

On Thursday, November 7, Krieger Schechter Day School hosted part of the Baltimore Festival of Jewish Literature Opening Event

“Unplugging from our devices and reconnecting with the people around us”
with author Tiffany Shlain

We joined internet pioneer Tiffany Shlain , author of 24/6: The Power of Unplugging One Day a Week, in a fun and unique Skype call as she discussed the importance of unplugging and its benefits. The students had the opportunity to read Slacker, by Gordon Korman or Click’d by Tamara Stone and gathered in small groups with a teacher to discuss what they learned from the books.
