1st Grade Celebrates Siyyum HaSefer

There was much to celebrate on a cold and icy evening, as yet another group of children marked their learning to read in Hebrew.

On Tuesday, February 1, the students of kitah Aleph celebrated this important accomplishment  with a short presentation emphasizing the letters of the alef-bet and with sayings well known in our tradition.  Each child was presented with a siddur by his/her teacher and by our headmaster, Dr. Schneider.  Congratulations to the children and to their talented and dedicated teachers: Ina Krief, Alina Matz, Yael Turkel, and Chantal Reznik.  Also, a sincere thank you to Sara Fuld, our Lower School music teacher, for helping the children to prepare for their cantata.
