KSDS Co-Hosts Menashe Film at Gordon Center

Menashe, set within the Hasidic community in Borough Park, Brooklyn, is a warm, life-affirming look at the universal bonds between father and son. The movie played at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival and features actor, Ruben Niborski, who attended KSDS as a 3rd and 4th grader from 2013 – 2015 before moving to Israel.

The film will be shown at The Gordon Center on Sunday, November 19 at 3:00pm. There will be a panel discussion following the film featuring KSDS community members as well as Ruben himself!

KSDS has reserved a block of seats for the event and will be hosting a Meet & Greet with light fare following the panel discussion.

The film, which is in Yiddish with English subtitles, is geared to Middle School students so recommended for ages 10 and up but will certainly be enjoyed by all.
