The Hunger Games: A Student/Parent Book Discussion

The Hunger Games: Come Talk About It On Sunday, February 12!

A Book Discussion for Middle School Students and Parents

Sunday, February 12, 7-8pm

327 Hedgepocket Way, Reisterstown, MD (Litofsky family's home)

All Middle Schoole students (Grades 5-8) and their parents are invited.

Please RSVP to ClaireLanders@verizon.net.

Parents please be aware that "The Hunger Games" is intended for young adults (12 and older), though it has found many fans who are younger than 12 and a major movie release is due in March. It is a thrilling page-turner that combines elements of the Olympics and the reality show "Survivor." However, some of the book's scenes are very sad and will affect some children more than others. If your younger child has not read the book, please read the book first to determine whether "The Hunger Games"is appropriate for your child (it is a short, quick read).
