Meet Our Lower School Teachers
Great teachers are one of Krieger Schechter Day School’s key strengths. On average, our teachers have 18 years of classroom experience and more than 80% have graduate degrees. Our student-faculty ratio of 9:1 demonstrates our commitment to individualized attention and student success.
The dual curriculum at KSDS offers many opportunities to make connections across subject areas. The job of our master teachers is to take advantage of each one. Our teachers know the material and know how students learn. Active and engaged in their work, they become aware of each student’s learning style so they can approach your student as an individual. They know they’ve done their jobs when they see the light in a student’s eyes and hear the pop of understanding: “Oh!”
